I'm not sure.

That's the short answer. I called and cancelled the Dec. breast lift surgery and I did tell the scheduler why. I doubt if my reasons got back to the doctor of if she lost any sleep over them, but I did end up hearing from the doctor I initially asked to read my MRI.

She explained the hard areas don't show up as fat necrosis. They don't show enhancement either though, so they probably (gotta love that word) aren't cancer. She thinks they are scar tissue and might not go away, but there's a chance they could.

As for when I'll get the lift, I'm thinking either next December after giving new girl time to really settle and praying the scar tissue just goes away, or in four years when I'm done taking tamoxifen and won't have the increased risk of a blood clot after surgery.

I like the second scenario because I'll be able to reassess if I want lipo after I see how four more years of that nasty drug treat me; I don't like the second scenario because it means I have to be patient.

What?!!!!!
